Digital Communications Standard

An exciting new certification in Digital Communications is due to be released to all Prodigy Partners and Microsoft IT Academies in January 2007. More information on the new Digital Communications Standard will be updated here as it becomes available.
The new Digital Communications Standard will be a complementary qualification to the existing IC3 (Internet & Computing Core Certification) certification, with the outcome being a complete ICT qualification - incorporating digital literacy (IC3) + digital communications.
As the diagram above indicates, the new Digital Communications standard will come together with the Digital Literacy Standard IC3 to form a fully comprehesive validated and certified ICT learning solution.
The convergence of computing and the Internet with communications technologies has rapidly increased the need for blended, comprehensive standards that form the basis for a validated learning solution encompassing all relevant information and communications technologies (ICTs).
