Benefits of IC3 Certification

Updated: 24th April 2008

Everyone in today's society needs to be Digitally Literate, as exposure to computers and the internet does not equal understanding. IC³ Certification offers an individual the opportunity to learn and demonstrate computer, Internet and digital literacy skills.

Benefits of IC3 Certification:

  • Provides the core skills and knowledge necessary to use computer applications, understand computers and the Internet and to be digitally literate to an industry standard
  • It is an internationally recognised qualification and a global standard
  • It is the perfect foundation course to progress to the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification or onto IT Professional qualifications like the Microsoft Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) (see Prodigy's Certification Roadmap) or CompTia's A+ certification (see diagram below)
  • Provides validation and proof of digital literacy skills which are sought after in the job market
  • Provides the knowledge and skills that are necessary to improve productivity in the workplace

IC3 Endorsements:

IC3 has been approved and endorsed both by industry and awarding bodies all over the world.  These endorsements are due to the strength of IC3's syllabus and course content.  As a result, IC3 has been integrated into many I.T. qualifications and Programmes around the world, which are outlined in the table below:
