MOS Exam Objectives

Updated: 20th April 2008

MOS Exam objectives are categories of Examination tasks, identified by subject matter experts, which certify an individual's ability to productively use Microsoft Office applications. These objectives or categories are organised into "skill sets" representing the more fundamental aspects of using each Microsoft Office application.

The objectives and skill sets for each Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) exam are provided below to assist you in your exam preparation.  Training centres and MOS courseware providers authorised by the Microsoft Office Specialist Programme, map their instruction to meet and cover these exam objectives are part of their Microsoft Office training courses or courseware.  To help prepare for the MOS exams read the 'MOS Test Taking Tips' document.
